Network Staff

Erealm Network Staff

The network staff at erealm are dedicated to our network. they can ALWAYS be found by typing /helpop help #channel , or you can find them in #help any user with voice or higher is their to assist you in any way possible. Our network breaks down the staff into "Network Service Teams" aka (NST). The network service teams allow for the network to have a more versitile privilage system. This way not ONE person is in charge, and things run smoother. with that in mind, their is one Admin to each team, and 1 team member for every 20 users on the network. Abuse, Routing, Kline, Cservice. At the moment our staff is minimal so some of our Ircops are in multiple rooms, but we allow Staff Trainee's to be team members within those teams.

Tier 2  ( CSERVICES/Server Admin )

The Cservices team is to monitor nick db, chan db. They help users with chanserv, nickserv, botserv, hostserv, memoserv. The cservices team helps users creat bots, setup bots for channels, and will help any/all users with any situations in a channel, with a nick, or even a bot on the erealm network. The Cservices team can be found in #help.

Tier 3 ( Abuse Team )

The Abuse staff maintains the ircops and users alike to stop abuse within the network. Abuse would be described by. Any attempt to "attack" a channel or a nick name by means of stealing a password, flooding channels repeatedly, ect ect. This also goes for staff alike, the abuse team will make sure ircops on the erealm network are not abusing their powers, and changing modes, oping themselvs in rooms. The wonderful thing about our abuse team is you can join #abuse at any time and talk to an oper, only abuse opers are in their so you dont have to worry about anyone finding out. the abuse team also monitors proxies, and works with the kline team to ban users who need to be baned.

Tier 4 ( Kline Team )

The Kline team is a simple team, they maintain network wide bans. Because at erealm and our Server structure, our server admins only admin klines on their servers, glines are allowed by server admins, but must be no later than 1 day , and must be passed to the kline team members. Only the kline Team can set perm bans on a user, unless its a ban placed due to attacking the network, or any users within it ( as far as ddos, or other botnets ). The kline team will maintain a list of bans, and maintain them I.E remove when needed.
