Please read through this FAQ before submitting support tickets or posting to the support section of the forums, as you may find your answer here.

Q: How do I register my nick on the chat server?
A: Enter the command "/ns register password email", without "" and where password is your desired password and email is a valid email address.

Q: How do I log in to my nick once it's been registered?
A: Well, if its immediately after registration, you don't need to do anything further. But, in the future when you connect again, the command is "/ns identify password" (without the ""). Also make sure your nick is set to the one registered.

Q: How do I change nicks?
A: Easy! Just type /nick and the nick you want. For instance, if you wish to change your nick to TurtleDove, you'd type in "/nick TurtleDove" and press enter (without "").

Q: HELP!! I can't remember my nickserv pass!!
A: Please submit a support ticket to request your nick pass dropped/changed. We cannot tell you what your password is, as our services use encryption that disables password retrieval. If you are asking for a nick to be dropped, we will check to see if it's really yours. If not, your request will be denied.

Q: How do I register a channel?
A: First, create the channel by joining it. Then type in /cs register #channelname password description

Q: Someone has the nick I use on other networks!! How can I get this back so I can use it here?
A: eRealm staff will not drop another users nick just to reassign it. However, you do have a few options. 1) You could ask the user nicely; 2) You can keep eyeballing it for a while, and see if it drops from inactivity. Alternately you COULD try to register a nick that is similar but we will not take a nick from another user.

Q: I have a channel registered but I want some of my friends to have +q (Owner) status of the channel.
A: Just give them the password you used to register the channel. To log in to a channel, the command is /cs identify password

Q: I've been banned from your network and I can't get on. Please unban me.
A: We don't unban or ban users on request. If you've done something bad enough to be banned from eRealm, then chances are you will just have to wait it out. However, if you feel you've been banned unjustly, feel free to submit a support ticket at http://www.erealm.org/support

Q: Such and such is so annoying/harassing me. Please ban them.
A: If it's just one person, then /ignore them. If it's bothering a channel, then get the channel operators to ban the problem user. If the problems are repeated and its targeting you, you can submit a support ticket...
